We are in the process of onboarding Home chefs in select areas across Mumbai only. We will cover more areas soon and update the same on our website, once done.

Placing an Order

An Order is your request for a Dish / meal from a particular Home Chef. You can select the delivery date & meal time basis availability of the dish and Pre order the dish / meal.

All our orders are pre orders ( Order placed in advance). Each dish / meal is available on a particular date / time and you can select the delivery date & meal time basis availability of the dish and Pre order the dish / meal. Few dishes are available for same day delivery also and you can check the same against the Dish.

All dishes listed on the website will have dish availability date and meal time( Lunch / Dinner/ breakfast). You can also use the filter section and select all dishes available for the day.

Each dish can be ordered till a Cutoff time. The Cutoff time for the next meal is mentioned below against the dish .The Last order for the particular delivery date & mealtime can be placed till the Cutoff time. For Eg - Last order for 10thJune Lunch for a Simple Veg meal can be placed till 10th June 9 am for a particular chef. The cutoff time depends on each dish since it takes time to get fresh ingredients and prepare the same.

In case of any change of plans should you want to cancel your order, you can do so till the Cutoff time for the order with 100% refund. For details, refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy. You can cancel the meal online in My Orders under My Accounts section. Any cancellation post cutoff time, there will be no refund given.

No,you cannot change the order but can cancel the same and place a fresh order. For cancellations please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy

Yes, you can choose the delivery time slot of your Pre-Order from the options available for the meal time , at the time of placing an order.

No. You will have to place a different order with each Home Chef. This is done so that we have better tracking of all orders.

Each Dish / Meal is for a particular delivery date & Meal time. Once you Book an order, you can go to the cart page and Add more dishes from same Chef, for the same delivery date & time. Eg If you have Booked a dish for 15th July Lunch, in the cart page you can click on Add more Dishes from same chef - check & add more dishes for 15th July Lunch and checkout. Select availability → Book Order → Cart → Add dishes from the same chef → Book Order → Checkout

No. In a single order you can book from one home chef , either single or multiple meals for a defined date & meal time only. For eg. For 15th July delivery date from home chef A, you will have to book a separate order for lunch and a separate order for dinner. Any order for any other date like 16th July from the same chef A , you will have to book a separate order.

No, we are not accepting bulk orders separately but you can choose the quantity of the order if available on the website as per the information shared by the home chef.

We get the order delivered through third party delivery partners.We service select areas currently & will expand to other areas soon. You can come back and check out later whether your area is serviceable.

Currently we serve orders within ~7km radius of the home chefs only. In case the distance of the home chef to your address is more than the same , this error will be shown. Will request you to check other home chefs in your area.

To track order : Login --> My Orders section. You can also check the link shared once the order gets picked up at Login → My Orders --> Current Orders → View details → remarks.

You will receive a link from our delivery partner once the order gets picked up with an estimated time of delivery. This is as per the delivery time slot chosen by you at the time of placing an order.You can also check the link shared once the order gets picked up at Login → My Orders --> Current Orders → View details → remarks.

The standard quantity per serving is decided by the HomeChef. Each dish/meal mentions the number of people it can be served to and the quantity is put in a commensurate manner basis the same as well as the pricing.

Booking a Subscription Plan

You can book a Subscription plan for 3/5/10/20 days for Daily meals from a few select homechefs. With a subscription plan you get the convenience of ordering in one go rather than booking multiple times and also avail discounts of upto 15%. /p>

Subscription plan depends on the Meal Type ( Veg , Non Veg or Veg/ Non Veg), Portion type ( Full meal or Mini Meal) and Chef type ( Classic or Premium).

Plans may be available for only Lunch or Dinner or both depending on Chefs and can also be available for Weekends or excluding weekends. You can choose to exclude weekends also even if the homechef is available for weekends.

1. Go to the Subscription page - Choose the Subscription Plan & Click on Subscribe Now
2. On Subscription Page - View the Daily Menu of the chef to get an idea of the menu on offer by Chef Choose the # of days for the plan (3/5/10/20), Meal time ( Lunch / Dinner), Start date , whether days should include Weekends and then Subscribe..
3. Checkout by selecting Delivery time slot, Add delivery address & Pay Online

When you select the # of days the discount against the same will show in the Subscription page. You can do a trial run with a 3 day plan and when you choose a longer period you get a higher discount. No promo code needed for the same. Some Chefs may not show for higher no of days in case the chef is unavailable during the plan period.

You can select the Plan start date which can be 2 days from current date (T+2) to max 7 days from current date (T+7). The restriction ensures that all chefs are available during the plan period and also since it is a pre order gives adequate time to the chef to prepare for the subscription plan orders.

No, you can only book a subscription plan from one home chef for a particular Meal plan and meal time only. You can book more than one Qty of the same plan though in case you want 2 Meals etc. For Eg : If you want to Book a Lunch and Dinner Plan from Chef A. You can book a Veg meal, Portion Full meal for lunch in one order & in case Dinner Plan from the same chef is available then it will have to be booked as a separate order.

Manage my Subscription Plan

Yes you can cancel a meal within the Cutofftime for subscription plan and we will carry forward the meal and the last date of plan will be extended by a day.
For Lunch - cutofftime time is 9 pm of the previous day.
For Dinner - cutofftime time is 9 am of the same day.
For any cancellations after the Cutofftime time for subscription plan , No carry forward of the meal will be done. Please note, you can cancel meals upto the validity date only of subscription plan only, beyond which No extension will be done.

Each Subscription Plan will have an End Date depending on the # of days of subscription plan. The end date is calculated by adding the # of days to the start date of the plan. It depends also on whether the weekends are included or not.

The Validity date is the last date till which the subscription plan can get extended when a meal is cancelled.When you cancel a meal within the cutoff time, the meal gets carried forward by a day. Maximum carry forward can happen till the validity date of the plan mentioned.

Yes you can cancel the subscription plan anytime and all the Unused meals of the subscription plan will be refunded. For Eg if you have 5 unused meals remaining in your plan , the same will be refunded. The discount applied will also be adjusted pro rata on the same. All Meals which have been used, scheduled for delivery after the last Cutofftime, will be counted as Meals Used and rest will be counted as Unused meals.

With this unique feature , you can swap your meal for the day & meal time for a meal from another available Chef in the same area, in case you do not like the Menu of the chef for that day & meal time. The Swap is only available for a chef who has the same Plan and Meal time as the current chef.
For Eg If you have a Subscription plan from Chef A for Veg Meal , Portion - Full meal for lunch. For say 15th July, If Chef B also has the same plan then you can Swap meal from chef B for July 15th without any additional charges. Swap will need to be done by Cutoff Time only.

To track Meal order of the Subscription Plan: Login --> My Subscriptions section. Current Subscriptions → View Subscription Plan --> Manage Subscription → Check Delivery date for the meal order → Click on Meal -->Check status

Real time status : Once order is picked up, you can check the link of Delivery rider which will give real time status

Payment

Yes, we do charge for deliveries on an actual basis, ( this depends on the distance between the home chef and your delivery address).You will be able to see your delivery charges before the checkout.

No , All payments will have to be done online by the payment instruments mentioned. There is no cash on delivery option

During checkout if the amount has been debited from your payment instrument, it will be refunded in 5-7 working days.You can write to us at support@gharkiyaad.in for any clarifications.
